Merits of Friday

Assalaamu Alaikumwa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

What is the merit of Friday over other days ? and why ?

Answer:Praise be to Allaah.

Friday has many distinguishing features and virtues that Allaah has bestowed upon this day and not others.
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah and Hudhayfah (may Allaah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah led those who came before us away from Friday. The Jews had Saturday, and the Christians had Sunday. Then Allaah brought us and Allaah guided us to Friday. So there is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and thus they will follow us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last of the people of this world but we will be the first on the Day of Resurrection, and we will be dealt with before all others.”

(Narrated by Muslim, 856.)

Favorite spot in Southern Africa: God's Window on the Garden route! Breathtaking views!


Favorite animal: i don't have a pet, but it'd have to be a cat, they're sooo cute!

Favorite movie (American): Can't think of one.... don't watch many movies

Favorite singer: Junaid Jamshed, Love his tranformation to a practising Muslim, an like his new Nasheeds.

Here it finally is!!! It's taken me a couple of days to get these two posts up, as i'm getting no time to blog from work, and just get a bit of time each night to work a bit on it in bits and pieces.



I've been Tagged and Awarded for the coolest blog ever!!! Alhamdo lillah and Jazakallah to My dear sisters Mina and Pixie from Beautiful Muslimah, respectively!

Okay first with the Coolest Blog Award, I have to pass it onto 10 other sisters who have the cool blogs.... This is sooooo tuff as everyone has good stuff on their blogs!!! :)
