First 10 days of Ramadaan

Assalaamo alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

First of all let me wish Ramadaan Mubarak to my friends! May Allah Ta'aala shower his blessings upon you all in this special month.

Well, I am still around, and lots of stuff has happened in the last seven months that i haven't been able to update you all on. Inshallah posts coming soon.

Yesterday i was listening to a bayaan by a sheikh in the mosque, and i want to share the treasures with you. The first 10 days of Ramadaan are dedicated to the mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. If we ask with sincerity from Allah to grant us his mercy & blessings, not only for Ramadaan but for the rest of the year we will surely get it.

The second set of 10 days from the 11-20th Ramadaan, is when Allah Taala grants forgiveness to whosoever asks for it.

The Last 10 days are for asking for REFUGE from the fire of Hellfire.


Abû Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "He who observes optional prayer (Tarâwîh prayers) throughout Ramadân, out of sincerity of Faith and in the hope of earning reward will have his past sins pardoned." [Bukhari and Muslim]

May Allah Grant us all of the above, and may we rectify our faults, and become a better Ummah.

does anybody still read this blog???

Assalaamo alaikum wa Rahamatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I am thinking of closing this blog. i do not have many topics and and not getting any comments so i really do not know if there is anyone reading my posts.
I am also do not have superb writing skills to make this blog very interesting. i do however, love to share what ever guidance i get from around me, from khutbas, books and discussions with friends.

My life is going through major changes and i do not wish to make this a blog discussing my life,

so to keep or not to keep.
Looking forward to your opinions and comments which i do miss.
